Jindal, but his chances for 2012 seem considerably diminished after his lame response yesterday. My wife could not stand his speech. After 1 or 2 minutes she changed the channel saying he was talking as we were children. My wife also almost always votes Republican. So her opinions were not politically biased. Jindal blew it.

Well..........this is almost word for word what I just pm'd another poster, but fits the question. Charisma has to be part of the whole package. Look what happened during the Nixon/JFK debate. Nixon had more experience, and people who listened on the radio thought he won the debate. People who saw it on TV thought JFK won. Jindal is good looking enough........and lord knows he's about as intelligent as they get......... but he needs to either get more comfortable speaking directly to a camera, or give it up. He oozes conservative creds, but he needs to connect with the people. I think he was uncomfortable..........he needs to find his groove.
