It is politics but things are so bad that we can't afford all the republican obstructionism. If they have a point they should make it but it is mostly ideological whining. I watch it on C-span and they sound like a bunch of children.

Jindal had every opportunity to make a point and all he did was complain.

I try to be objective, to see the Republican side of things, but lately they just seem to be nuts.

Obama ran on everything he's doing: stimulus, health care, letting Bush tax cuts for the top expire, etc. And he has an approval rating near 70%.

He said what he was going to do. He won the election handily. And now he's doing what he said he'd do with lots of public support.

Yet to hear the Republicans talk, you'd think the country is being usurped by a Manchurian President.

If the Republicans are really the party of Jindal, Steele, and Palin, if they're really about doing nothing in a crisis of this magnitude, they're screwed, they're the stupidest people on Earth.

I'm having trouble reasoning it any other way.
