That's not the reason... but it's also true in many places.

Do you think it's a good idea to destroy one economic engine (tourism) to build a different economic engine (energy)?

The point I've been trying to make here, and I thought you agreed with, was that you do what makes sense for the specific location. No ideology, just pragmatism.

If you hurt one industry by building an energy platform, you have to subtract that loss of economic activity from the energy benefit. No?

You seem to want to despoil very pretty places just for the sake of your agenda, even when it doesn't make sense. Similar to the environmental activist that wants to protect areas even when it doesn't make sense.

The ideologues, on both sides, are going to kill us.
