I am surprised. I removed my my ignore from MM. He may not be a dogmatic democratic yes person!

Obama is on a course of conflicting actions. The only thing that held his coalition together was hating Bush. Bush is gone. Some dems want jobs - some dems want no growth. The two groups cannot coexist.

Any domestic growth requires energy. For now the recession eliminates the fear of the lights going out. That will hide the impacts of bad policy for some time.
