God only knows what they will look like in 2010 or 2012. I didn't think it before but I do now... they may become virtually extinct. It's past time for a third party... it could be something like the Eisenhower Republicans.

They have their web of blogs, talk radio and emails that have constructed a whole alternate reality for them. The problem is that they have gotten so insulated that they haven't noticed the rest of the world split off from them long ago. And the widening of the gap is accelerating. And it showed in the elections. By 2006, it was obvious that they were in a different universe. By 2008, they were almost a cartoon. God only knows what they will look like in 2010 or 2012. What's interesting is they don't realize how close they are being watched. The Left has learned its lesson. Through the internet they are able to monitor the right 24/7 and to alert their followers of every crazy comment or move the right makes. Since craziness seems to be a dominent theme with the them, the wingers are made to look bonkers nearly every day.
