James, I don't understand what your point is, at any rate I don't
share the view that $1.57 Billion is in any way disappointing nor
do I share the view that AMD can pulloff the K7 with any more
success than they did the K5 & K6. What reasonable person would?

Believe in the Analaysts. They have no clue about Intel's or anyone else's business. (Besides most analysts expect guidance - believe- what Intel says anyway).

Yes Intel also said that there was a decline in ASP's. This was entirely due to the mix of the pentium classic.
