i agree with you oral, but when i say do not discuss it, i mean do not let small children know where the firearm is hidden...boys especially....obviously as they get older they should have a very healthy respect for firearms and a knowledge of how to correctly handle a firearm....training or not, i just do not have confidence in a very young child in handling a firearm except under the closest of adult supervision.... as far as storing guns and ammo together....what is the point of having a hand gun for personal protection? does anyone think an intruder is going to wait while you fumble around looking for your ammo and load your gun? i don't think so... i'll pm you more on this
