Frankly I don't think the goal of cap and trade will work. There will just be too many holes in the entire system.

In the business world, these things aren't a zero sum game. You are assuming that jobs will be lost in the coal industry and that is bad for America. The reality is that any jobs lost in the coal industry will be more than made up in the new, better jobs created in the renewable energy industry. This is about upscaling the job market and creating a new innovation engine at the same time.

This is about creative destruction. That is a mantra in Silicon Valley. It can be painful to some, but the overall pie grows as a result. Ultimately, it will be good for this country.
