I'm not blaming Obama, but these billions nay trillions are going to have to be paid back, and that is gonna hurt for a long long time.
Not only that, if it's handled anything like the S&l screwing everything will be dumped for a nickel on the dollar just before things turn up.

No, Obama is not smart enough! His only claim to fame is that he is a good puppet with a silver tongue who knows how to work the crowds.

The blame falls squarely on the shoulders of ole Barney Franks. As chairman of the Financial Services Committee the past 5+ years he failed to reign in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In fact his agenda was to have very person own a house irregardless of their ability to pay. He rejected all the warnings coming from the White House and the Feds as far back as 2001!

Now the crumbling "American Empire" is reaping what he and other Marxists have sown.
