My thanks to Allen for his polite post and the other kind folks who emailed me to point out my error in suggesting that the n.hand drive will be about the size of a deck of cards. In an act of blatant public stupidity, I confused info I had come across on what is most likely the Slim Zip with the n.hand drive which, undoubtedly, will be significantly smaller than that.
Now, having eaten a belly full of crow for for breakfast, it's off to the mountain to take snow samples. :0)

Oh, in the new issue of Popular Science (the working man's tech mag) there is a double page ad featuring the Russian airfrieghter and introducing the Zip-Built-In theme. On the following page there is a 1/4 page ad featuring a Zip disk as *VCR tape for your computer*. There is also an item about Buz in the What's New section and a one page ad for two models of Micron Workstations which each come standard with a Jaz ( yes, I know -- some bears will probably contend that putting Jaz in as standard will undoubtedly hurt Zip disk sales. If only IOM could figure out an effective marketing plan, eh?)

Since the overall goal is to dominate the mass consumer market, I'm pleased to see extensive IOM presence in mags like Popular Science . . . it certainly can't be considered a tech-head oriented publication.
