That is cold for this time of the year. Then again I remember my dad talking about fishing in your area in the 40s and saying the ice went out May 1st.

Took the dog for a walk, about 22 degrees. Had on a heavy coat, gimme hat and farmer gloves. Little breeze and high humids. Like to froze to death, especially my fingers. Used to be I'd hunt in that weather and not even wear gloves. Then again my blood pressure has gone from high to "normal". I wonder if "normal" is best for me or do we operate better at different levels?

We are at a balmy 14 this morning. Any thing under 40 is just cold and colder.
