I see. So Rush is a centrist and a nice man. Not an ideologue at all.

What democrats?

HEllO
the democrats who voted for the war? Those democrats? Except for some fringe dwellers, No ONE on the dem side *wanted* Bush to fail in that war. And I'd say except for some fringe dwellers, no one *wants* Obama to fail.

For those who do, welcome to the fringe. It's cold and lonely there, and usually the wrong place to be.

>>He made the connection to Democrats who said that they want Bush to fail when there was heavy fighting in Iraq.<<

Tim -

By that standard, what Rush said would be tantamount to saying that he wants the country to go into a depression.

I personally don't give a crap what Rush said. I think he's an entertainer who appeals only to people who enjoy feeling self righteous and angry, and who aren't interested in getting below the surface of his words to discover how little substance there is.

He's a gasbag who can sometimes be funny. No reason to be concerned about him. If the Republicans want to hang that albatross around their own necks, who am I to dissuade them?

It's a shame, though, because I think that true conservatives who are willing to engage in an honest debate could be of great service to our country right now.
