Consider also that there are plenty of stories about people adversely affected by various aspects of our healthcare system, too.

Canadians, Brits, and Swedes (among many others) never face financial ruin because of medical bills. They do not suffer from the stress of worrying about how to pay medical bills. My own recent experiences leave me feeling that they've got better systems than ours, if only just for that reason.
