I satisfied my craving for meatloaf yesterday. I finally figured out how to successfully make a wheat-free one. For the bread I substituted a small zucchini and a jumbo mushroom, shredded and briefly nuked, and a quarter of a cup of hydrated flax seed for the bread. That was for a pound of ground beef. The texture was suitably meatloafy.

Dried dulse keeps very well. Unlike most seaweed, it's non-gelatinous. You can eat it raw, straight out of the bag. It's a bit salty, so I use it sparingly.
