flu.........don't you think the flu is effecting 'hardware' more than 'software'?

But it is indeed effecting the techs....it also seems even without the flu...AG talks the market down as it nears the 8,000 without fail...I don't think he wants the thing to finish the year anywhere near that level anyway.

I know they keep changing the components in the Market Basket of goods in the CPI.....but isn't the DOW still a component?

It worked good for me during the last Dow dip to move out of SEMI's and favor the INTU/CKFR/XCIT senerio.....I think if you look back they've all put on about 50% at minimum....(and I think on balance they are increasing yet thru this DIP)..If you are looking at XCIT.......you might see share prices move below the 50 DMA......say 22-24....depending on effects of the flu.

The ratio I'm on with the three is approx 1 XCIT, 2 CKFR, 2.5 INTU...I'll move from one to the other depending on future price movements. ie....a continued dip in xcit would cause me to move cash into it.....I'm favoring INTU because it is farthest below Target, XCITis in it...CKFR is strong and has been all summer...CKFR is not making the $$$ fast but it's been a pretty steady movement up.
