And there are reasons to be suspicious of China. Not being in recession doesn't really square with the reports of thousands of factories a month closing and the riots.

There is considerable evidence to the contrary..........that the stimulus will work.

At this point there is just about zero evidence, esp. if by "work" you mean in terms of real economic well being rather than measured stats, and you mean more than for the short term.
