From my viewpoint you don't understand the issue at all, and I'm sure you feel the same. No problem.... but why don't you explain why? Even conservative newspapers and columnists state things like: "Last week, the White House invited me to a signing ceremony overturning the Bush (43) executive order on stem cell research." In other words Obama isn't "providing" anything. I could go on and on (why not more action on invitro fertilization? ie. the "REAL killers" here in huge # of cases are the parents not Obama or the American taxpayers... the ignorance is really too bad), but we can just disagree, no need to continue compulsively responding unless you actually want to go futher into the meat of the issue. <Yes, as I said, tactics like misrepresentation.> <<No stating their opinion. You can disagree with the opinion, but they are accurately representing it.>> Well, that's you opinion... and Yes, I can see you fail to see the difference between "content and context"... ie. there is the opinion, and the delivery. A "tactic" is not an opinion... it's part of the delivery. IMHO the piece cleary shows lack of context on the real issues that people care about... you may not be up on the issue, which is fine... but misrepresentation (whether a lie or not, whatever) is a 'tactic' (context) for delivering the information (content)... and the information delivered above doesn't deal with the core issues at all... if it's non intentional, then it's simply a lazy ignorant statement put out to tow the party line. It's fine by me, but I posted on it. If you want to disagree, fine, but why don't you explain (like I have) why you think it's a valid, coherant viewpoint/statement on stem cell research and "killing" as it pertains here (Obama's action)??? DAK PS... FYI this statement is probably a rehash of statement last month or two by the "Holy See". President Obama signed an executive order that provides federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. This means that American taxpayers will now be paying for the killing of human beings at a very early stage in their lives (as embryos), so that scientific research can make use of them for experiments that may or may not yield positive results.
