I drove past there on the 101 a few weeks ago. I looked and saw what appeared to be the oil derricks (sp???) in the distance. I breathed comfortably that:

1. I could barely see them
2. Their presence either at least somewhat reduces or has potential to reduce import in our terribly managed country

I like your approach, win with logic. You should get a bill out there along those lines.
