Mike: How about some 5 cent advice ala Lucy??

What types of people are attracted to the Internet? What is this
group with whom I've become associated?
I look forward to postings from Earlie, Mohan, MB, SB,a couple of
the hypers on the Dell thread, and a few others.

Does this create a "profile" of my poor soul? Am I condemned?

I find it amazing that with all the problems with tech stocks last week every reason under the sun was given except slowing PC growth. It is like some big taboo to say it. Was this the way it was in previous down cycles? If I recall, there was always a segment of the main stream which was naysaying technology in the past. They seem to be absent now. It has become complete fringe thinking to question the role of technology in the new paridigm. Has this become the mother of all tech manias? And will the reemergence of a doubting faction be more significant now? Tim

The gospel according to Seinfeld is that the Internet is only used for getting stock quotes and pornography. -g-
