Style, I have gone out on a very big limb on this one too. I figured if mgnt. proved to be reliable(which of course, they have) that by Christmas I would be in a very happy place:-) Well, we get our earnings, but what timing, huh?

I was explaining to my Mom what stock we were most heavily invested in and I compared to being involved with a Cisco, Intel or Microsft one year after their ipo. No guarantees of course, but I think Cymer could end up in the same category, eventually.

Short sellers are different. They don't look down the barrel of
great earnings and follow Al Fanken to the monkey house! Saying
a stock with no bad news is a buy is a market mover. Saying a stock
with good news is a sell moves nothing.

style...

let us not forget barron's slant; recall the shabby
mention of cymer post monkey downgrade, and
following the ms debacle when they described the
ritz conference appearance...

they said that cymer simply answered none of the analysts
questions about the rumors, etc, implying to readers that
they should infer the answers may have been admissions.

i liked akins comment about the absence of any need to respond
where no facts exist...yes, let dlj do it in appropriately legit context.
barron's was way off base, like so many in their treatment of cymer.
the proof was in the earnings pudding, and barrons, and fleckens****** can eat it with the lot of them...humbly, just like pie.
