Excellent point.

This should have been a requirement a 100 years ago.

Should also be a requirement for Congress and all offices down through the local level.

Noone should serve in an office in the USA unless they are a citizen.

Yes, unless Obama comes forth with legal copies and original copies of all of the documentation this issue will escalate.

The same goes for any appointment made by the President and elected officials.

Clearly this should be done. In fact I am shocked that a person can run for president, much less win election, without providing evidence that he meets the qualifications of office. Just so no one misunderstands, I am not one of those who thinks the President is not a citizen.
