<<safe deposit box>>

If I expected a dark interregnum, I wouldn't be very comfortable having my gold stored in a HK safety deposit box, with a PLA contingent encamped just around the corner.

Northern Ireland terror attacks linked to economic downturn,

The murders of two soldiers and a policeman in Northern Ireland is linked to the economic downturn, according to Peter Hain.

By Christopher Hope, Whitehall Editor
Last Updated: 10:06AM GMT 11 Mar 2009

In an interview with the BBC, Mr Hain said that there was a link between the past decade of prosperity and peace in Northern Ireland.

He added: "It is not a coincidence that the breakthrough of a good two years ago came at a time of full employment"

Mr Hain, who was Northern Ireland secretary from 2005 to 2007, made the link as thousands prepared to hold a series of silent vigils this lunchtime to show their anger at the upsurge in terrorist violence.

They are expected to show revulsion at the murders of Pc Stephen Carroll and two soldiers, Mark Quinsey and Patrick Azimkar.

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has called for people to attend silent lunchtime vigils outside Belfast City Hall, the Guildhall in Londonderry and the Town Hall in Newry, Co Down

Northern Ireland First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness are due to arrive in the United States for a visit which has twice been delayed by the two terror attacks.

The visit to US companies with subsidiaries in Northern Ireland to urge them to maintain and expand their investments will culminate with a St Patrick's Day meeting with President Barack Obama next week.

The First Minister and his deputy visited Mrs Carroll in her home and spent 20 minutes with her before flying to London en-route to Los Angeles.

Capital spreading will skyrocket as money flows form places building houses to let or to use as ATM.
The world will put this capital to produce and the world economy will recover.

The era of capital hogging has ended. Period. The era of capital spreading more evenly has began..

The world is in the edge of a growth without no match in the past.

A slightly different interpetation of the UK moves -

Becuase the UK pound was high for a long time, very many UK residents have bought houses in ohter countries, mainly Spain, France, and Portugal.

Many have established business and lives outside the UK.

The numbers I have seen are like 10-15% of all households.

Now that the UK has bailed out Northern Rock, Lloyd's bank, etc. the UK will have a huge debt to pay off.

To pay this debt, the government will need to collect more taxes, and provide less service (expect more traffic congestion, and even more cuts in National Health Service, taxing of pensions, etc.)

The people have left the barn, and the UK is trying to avoid a massive exodus of money.
