The direction would be down.

I do not think anyone knows this for sure. Your guess can be as good or bad as any other's. If the market believes that INTC price will definitely go down, it will happen rightaway. If one could predict that the price would go down (while the rest of the market thinks otherwise), then that someone would be rich instantly and would have no time to post on SI as he would remain busy shorting.

The idea of positing a "prediction" here seems to be a ploy to scare others to sell so that the shorters would gain. But, the longs know this ploy very well. Therefore, these ploys carry little information except for depicting naivete that others might still believe such prediction.

If the Financial Analyst (Kurlak?) knew based on his data that INTC would face hardship, he would not be wasting his time to talk; he would rather keep shorting INTC. Maybe he is talking in behalf of others with the hope that the price falls sufficiently for his sponsors to buy the stock at the lowest price.

In any case, it is fun to watch the game on SI and the market place.

Re: No offence intended, But the fact that you are asking this question leads me to believe that you do not think you can loose money in the stock market.

Believe what you want, I have already proved that one wrong. Your post on the other hand makes me believe, you can't spell.
