I suspect it's the foreign obligations that are causing first Bush and then Obama to prop these lousy financial companies up. Foreigners already blame us, rightly, for the Bush Depression. If we reneged on the financial obligations of our financial corps, they'd want our heads. Still, I wish they'd let the companies fail and just directly made the foreign obligations good.
