We're not entirely on the same page. We disagree as to whether we should've been propping them up in the first place. I think we should've, but not without replacing all of the leadership and actually having a plan for splitting up the company. We didn't have one.

AIG is just begging for us to pull the plug, and there seems to be no way to get the Obama administration to handle this any better.

September would've been the worst time in the world for AIG to collapse; if it's going to collapse, it should be now when nothing horrible has happened otherwise for a while.

But this is all far from ideal...
