not many who fall while skiing get medical attention like she did on the slope. She did refuse ambulance service which was offered. Later with headaches they were called again. it took a half hour to determine to ship her to a nearby hospital, maybe some event happen during the half hour while they were there in her hotel room? then after being at the local hospital for a couple of hours she was then sent via ambulance to montreal hospital about an hour away. basically, they lost several hours from noon to about 7pm and its possible that the last few hours she was already in a comma and it was too late.

no helicopter evacuation.
