I disagree, because the mentality at AIG which is leading to the bonus crisis is emblematic of the way the execs at AIG see the TARP package -- it's their piggy bank.

They are NOT going to fix the problems. If the problems do get fixed with them in charge, it will be because we kept AIG and the rest of the system propped up long enough for the bubble to reinflate, which will just lead to another crash sometime in the future.
