I agree with you, Gina.

BO has cheapened the office on many levels.

Why doesn't he just send his speeches out via email?
Reading from teleprompters amounts to the same thing.

Gina, they might whine, but they put Obama on. They don't have to. It's a market. They make their choices.

Fair enough. Familiarity breeds contempt so perhaps important things will be lost in the noise, but I doubt it: < I did NOT say that I have discounted Obama as unimportant. I said, "Having the President on TV every time you turn around makes you eventually discount what he says as important, even if it. is." There's a difference. >

People seem to parse every phrase, looking for anything they can criticize. Not much which is important is being missed. Not much which isn't important is being missed either. Since his comment about special Olympics drew such flak, I conclude that there wasn't much of importance to discuss.

Also, I can't see why the excitement about using a teleprompter. It seems reasonable to have a speech written down and modern devices instead of cards in a pocket is a good idea. The implication seems to be that he doesn't have any ideas and it's just a computer telling a Zombie what to say.
