I he's a very likeable guy but there is a difference between book (teleprompter) smart and "business" smart which you gain from experience (basically getting screwed over). So now he's relegated to learning on the job.

"Supporter" is a bit strong. I was against McCain because of his short temper and his history of aligning with Bush. In that sense I was for Obama, but his being a Senator was a huge strike against him in my book.

I must confess that so far Obama has done a MUCH better job than I expected him to. Geithner was the only big mistake I have seen him make and, when it comes right down to it, Obama really didn't have any choice about Geithner.

Obama lacks experience but has so far done a much better job than Bush, an order of magnitude better. He has the potential to become a truly great president. Whether he does or not remains to be seen.
