Thanks for your reply. I've been delighted by Obama's willingness to make many broad, sweeping changes-- the ones he alluded to while campaigning. I'm concerned about the public's impatience and think it's being whipped up to a frenzy by certain folks on the right. I think this is Obama's first obstacle to overcome in order to move toward becoming a great president.

I must confess that so far Obama has done a MUCH better job than I expected him to. Geithner was the only big mistake I have seen him make and, when it comes right down to it, Obama really didn't have any choice about Geithner. Obama lacks experience but has so far done a much better job than Bush, an order of magnitude better. He has the potential to become a truly great president.
