I know ASEAN countries- US has flourished inspite of Japan's and NEKKEI severe recession and drop respectively- deflation is threatening but if total corporate profit driven out of that area is only 6% how much deflationary it can really get? I know that Europe is coming out of five years below average performance of economies - growth has been lagging behind all the OECD countries- Japan lately has seen consolidation at 17000 levels and most of the companies like SNE Tokyo Electron are setting up to turn around, I am not looking at deflation as a threat for me continued strong growth of economy- non-inflationary in nature is the biggest test- I am sure that we are in a age of global prosperity and gloom and doom predicted on this thread is not our destiny- you will see that markets have a perfect ability to move up or down 1000 points but remain in a perfect trend of growing revs and profits.
