Your assuming Bush "had" to conduct the multi-trillion $ (all costs in) Iraqi war - that's a view not held by all. Its hard to see where America has really benefited bang for buck on that one. Aren't the troops getting the boot in 2011 or something?

The multi-trillion $ tax cut was credited for every bit of good economic news for years until the economy fell off a cliff so what great good they did - in hindsight - is questionable too.

As for turning the US into a socialist paradise - gimmee a break - Obama is just trying like hell to bail out all these wonderful capitalists who ran everything into the ground. I agree he may be spending too much money and maybe he's just pissing in the wind - but he wasn't exactly dealt a strong hand.
