At least the guy had the sense to do it in the trunk and not leave the mess for his family to find. How someone could do that and know that a kid or spouse is going to walk in and find the body is beyond me.

Life is too short to abandon it and make those left behind suffer..I had a neighbor a 10 year old boy who was mad as his mother for working and not being home with him. We lived in a neighborhood where most the mothers were stay at home mothers and the boys mother did not have to work, but chose to.
Anyhow, the boy got his fathers shot gun and put it in his mouth..his parents cames home and found him.

It was a terrible story, but to make matters worse, the couple had another baby within a year after the boy's death and the mother never worked again. Why couldn't she have done that before???

I have been blessed to experience such smells only from the carcasses of dead deer alongside the highway, or in one case a year ago a poached animal.

It's hard to get that smell out of your nose.

My son in law, a pathologist, is somewhat immune to bad smells.
