Eisenhower did NOT start the Vietnam war.

If you want to find the true beginning of it it was when JFK began to ramp up from an advisory role, which we play all around the world at any point in time, to having 16,000 troops in Vietnam. That was the beginning and it wasn't under Eisenhower.
