At first we thought the sino soviet split was a ploy. We are not good at thinking on the fly when it comes to FP. We build up anger lets say to communism and then go out and help depose the iranian PM and help kill Allende. You are a living testament to that level of moronism, alive and well in arkanastan. Much of the French effort was financed by us. If you're going to count conceptual support, why stop with Eisenhower? Truman's support was totally based on the Domino theory. You were the one that put it "firmly on the shoulders of Kennedy and LBJ". Truman's support was based on our alliance with France who still controlled Indochina as one of its colonies when Truman was in office. It was Eisenhower who came up with the concept of the Domino theory. Why don't you read a book........you might learn something.
