Greetings Jack, Please allow me to state my belief of what occurred at my salvation, according to the Word of Almighty God. At my conversion God placed within my spirit His own un-created Life. The Bible calls this Eternal Life, which all believers have at thier conversion. God no longer dwells in places made by human hands as in the Old Covenant, but has chosen to dwell Himself in all born-again believers in thier re-created spirits. Since the King of Glory resides in all believers by this new Life the Kingdom of God is without a doubt, wherever the King should choose to dwell. This is the New Covenant. 1 Cor. 3:16 states , Do You not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in You ?. God has given us Eternal Life because It is only this Life with-in us , as we obey its promptings, that our Father will recognise. All other things done through our natural life (from Adam ) is absolutely worthless. In summary it is Impossible to live the Christian live in ourselves ( adam life ), hence God has given us Eternal Life to accomplish this in His Children as we daily take up our crosses and follow Him.
