Obama and the Treasury are doing what Bush should have done - seeking greater regulatory control over the financial institutions who have proven they cannot be trusted.

Obama, the Treasury and the Fed are attempting a takeover the like of which this country has never seen. They are co-opting the free market in favor of a huge, socialistic government.

No need for you to worry, you're retired or close to it.

I don't intend to sit by idly while Obama and his puppet masters try to pull this off.

Everything is Bush's fault to you Kenneth.

No we don't need companies taken over by the Federal Government as Obama is indicating he will do.

Having been in the market for a number of years------the only major changes I would make is the change in the uptick rule for selling short which is about to happen and the abolishing of the practice of naked shorting which has taken down numerous companies.

Quite frankly, Obama hasn't a clue about economics---he is now one of the nouveau political riche who has never owned or operated a business. Seems the Democrat Party is littered with that type.

More people are starting to understand that the Obama spending could bankrupt our country. Obama unable to justify why deficits must increase so much every year.

You can't see the forest for the trees Ken. The cozy relationships between gov't officials and GSEs are part of what caused this mess NOT THE LACK OF REGULATION.

BTW, it's not these institutions that can't be trusted, they can be fully trusted to look after their own self interest, it's the fricken politicians that can't be trusted to fulfill their respective functions. Yet we still see members of the Banking and Finance Committee giving their twisted take on this whole fiasco. Every member on the B&FC should be removed for dereliction of duty and driven out of politics. They should be put on trial for malfeasance as a group.... Giving these douche bags more power isn't just stupid, it's the very definition of insanity.

You are still blaming Bush, Kenneth?

I hate to break it to you, but this forecast for Budget Deficits is owned by Obama's teleprompter:

Have we heard one peep from you about this MASSIVE increase in the National Debt and Budget deficit? Of course not...but we ALL know why that is, right Kenneth?

You are such a hypocrite.
