Actually, Ten I think you are the one who is confused. For example, deficits eventually become real numbers, not just projections. By running the war expenses outside the budget, Bush was able to make his deficits look less than what they ended up being. It was a not so clever sleight of hand. However, the Dems were powerless to stop it because they did not control Congress.


The war cost was about 600B. An absolute bargain.

The only reason Obama included the war cost was to allow him to hide massive increases in social spending.

Then go back and look at the real numbers.

Then go forward and look at the projections for Obama's deficit.

Which numbers are bigger? Even you can figure that out.
