Jim, I'd be interested in hearing how you arrived at that number. I believe that it is greatly exaggerated. A trillion dollars in firepower would give a small group of funds dominance over ANY market they chose at ANY time. That is just not reality of situation.

Jim, I would be interested also as to how you've arrived at this number.
The question here is, will Hong Kong dollar short sellers succeed in
causing a pnic in HK and causing people to cash in their HK dollars for US $? This hasn't happened in the last 2 days. IMHO the HK people are much more sophisticated than Malaysia.
Jim, what if China intervenes to support the HK $ and buy up any such currency offered to HK in exchange for their US $ reserves? The question then will be, how much are the Chinese US$ reserves? Do you know Jim?
