A couple of years ago I spent 6 weeks driving around New Zealand. They have red light cameras on nearly every stoplight. They have radar and cameras on posts all along the highways with warning signs a mile or so in advance of them.

The Kiwis are the best drivers in the world IMHO. They are very polite and they don't speed at all. I only saw a couple of highway patrolmen in all those thousands of miles. Of course, Kiwis are very polite and orderly people - the best of Britain.

I am all in favor of those devices. They reduce costs, reduce accidents and are a problem only for scofflaws. I can see that it will take a generation of education to get them accepted in Kali where no one drives the speed limit anywhere.

Blessings,

JRH
