William, Congratulations on your sell. This recent downdraft hit me like a freight train(I'm long AMAT in a big way and also margined at 46) Double ouch:>( Greed kept me from selling and even though I am hurting now I am glad this happened. You see, I do not think a real downturn is upon us but only some October jitters along with profit-taking in a group which has had a phenomenal year. However, in three to four years after the 300mm upgrade is complete we will have another situation like this. Hopefully I will remember the time in 1997 when AMAT was discounting earnings two years out. These are painful to live through; but if you can walk away having gained some lessons, I believe those lessons will serve you well. Brian
