It called paying your dues or paying for your education. undoubtedly, if you hold for the long term you will be ok in AMAT. After all the CEO has called for a huge increase in revenues by the turn of the century.

Brian,
How true. Expensive lessons have a way of burning a "DO NOT ENTER"
sign into the synapses' of your brain. Been there, done that, it
sucks!
We can all tell similar stories, part of the learning curve, I
guess. Kind of like a small child that you tell not to touch a
hot stove, they touch it, ONCE! They never touch it again, same
with making risk averse investment decisions. What is the saying
"once burned, twice shy".
