My logic is that five children become twenty-five grandchildren become become one hundred and twenty-five great-grandchildren etc., dooming the planet at some point ... within forty years on the other hand, my impact on the planet will end forever, other than serving as compost ... would be silly to concern myself with things like leaving the hallway light on or how much I run my air conditioner or recycling my newspaper. If the Pope approves the use of contraceptives maybe I'll reconsider.
