William - Thank you. I must apologize to you and the thread for not having addressed and clarified this issue in the threads header. I will attempt to do so in the coming week or so. I will probably ask to have a paragraph inserted similar to the one below: "Please do not seek or give recommendations or advice on individual stocks. If you do not abide this restriction, fellow threaders may seek to have you removed from the thread." At the same time, I do not wish to hinder the exchange of information that is germane to the discussion. I think that this would include such things as: the discussion of junior resource stocks as a group, the hedging activities of major producers, the recent merger of two large South African companies, or the fact that one of the worlds largest gold mining companies recently slashed its '98 exploration budget by 35%. I would appreciate any input you or others may have as to whether it is necessary to further address this aspect in the threads header, and how best to do so. Thanks - TB
