Sal, Bret H estimated CYMI needed only sell 400 lasers to acheive $1.04. Your numbers do not take into account any other accounting functions, tool sales, depreciation, dollars allocated toward warranty work coming back toward the earnings, etc. So, if CYMI sells 600 lasers, their earnings will be considerably higher given that fixxed costs of producing the lasers will remain constant at some point while the additional sales will simply add more gross revenue and earnings to the bottom line.

Note that Bret H. had originally estimated Cymer selling about 460 lasers, making $1.25 for 1998 prior to his downgrade. With Angus comments of a 40% increase for 1998 his downgrade numbers are completely blown out of the water.

Angus comments of a 40% growth for 1998 are VERY BULLISH and were not heretofore disclosed to the public to my knowledge.

Ummm, no. Not unless Uncle Sam has started taking 63% in taxes. I get $1.88 per share. 600 x $400,000 x .38 x .63/30,500,00 shares.
