DAK, the following responses are to your accumulated posts.

Are you saying you have "invented" this theory (idea)?

No, instead of "theorizing" maybe I should have used the
word "ruminating". However I can't help but to believe that
a possible dissertation topic or two may come out of any
Hong Kong spill over effects on other capital markets and
the rapid movement of capital seems a likely measure of
change.

How about the stock market (investors)...when will they be "disciplined" by sudden
capital movements??? Or is that what has just begun?

Well, that's the overriding question right now isn't it? That's
why I bought the puts.

I say this because the current credit spreads between corperates and Govt
securities are very narrow historically at the "investment grade" level (junk too for that
matter) and therefore portend good times to continue...not credit deterioration.

Exactly my point. Credit spreads have been very, very narrow and started
to widen out during the last week in particular. This observation was anecdotal
in nature and whether the trend holds is anybody's guess. Which side of
the trade do you want to be on?

I have a comment? Why didnt you buy them 3 days ago and save yourself "A
BUNDLE"???

Maybe I should have but I'm not clairvoyant. Are you? Why did I even
bother to tell anybody on SI is another question? I thought I answered
that in my posts. I am a very concerned long and am willing to lose all
my put premium if the market rebounds.

Good luck to you.
