"I now know why politicians don't fix the american education system." Have to disagree with you on that point. The american education system seems pretty good to me, although it could benefit from some improvement. The real problem is the stupid americans that don't WANT to learn. You can lead a horse to water... The one thing I would change is that you do NOT get a passing grade if you haven't learned the material. The "no child left behind" BS has got to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. If he/she hasn't learned the material, he/she SHOULD be left behind. While it is a bad thing for the country as a whole, it does benefit those people who actually DO want to learn. The problem is that you eventually have to deal with the ignorant masses.
