Okay, check back with me in 2041, give or take, and we'll see how SS is doing.

The Trustees tend to use overly conservative growth estimates so my guess is that date will get pushed further and further back over time.

Though, in the short run, considering our current contraction i expect the projections will get worse before they get better...

Not necessarily. There are many solutions. IE: allow 100 million young workers into the country, for one, with the condition they have to be GOOD Americans, and not bitch and whine about their obligations..
