The BOD is supposed to represent the interests of the shareholders. However, that has become a joke as capitalism in the US has become more corrupt. As a consequence, the BOD are not doing their job and tend to reinforce poor mgmt instead of stopping it. Boeing executives should not be getting any bonuses because they are over a year late getting the 787 into production. Instead, the BOD has approved more bonuses for thosexecs. As much as it pains me to say this, I think you are right. Joe
