If Toyota has so many top models in individual segments, they must have some lemons elsewhere to bring down their overall average down to 4th place overall. Or Buick has had a lot of second place finishes to overtake Toyota in dependability.

But the study is a direct contradiction to what you have believed religiously in order to absolve the union of their responsibility for the problems at US car makers.

It also reinforces my point that the differences between the US and Japanese in quality are minimal. 2 of the top 5 were US, and 3rd, the 3 year old Jaguars to tie for the top spot were back than made by Ford.
